Dr. Dimitrios Tsoukas has been built on pioneering innovative techniques in treating Orthopaedic and sports injuries. Currently he is the Director of The Minimally Invasive Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Surgery Apoel Football Club for the season 2019-2020. He is licensed to practice in Greece, Cyprus and Switzerland and have worked in Belgium, the UK, Romania and Doha Qatar. 


In addition to instructing worldwide in arthroscopic and minimally invasive Orthopaedic surgeries, Dr.Tsoukas he is also an expert in stem cell harvesting from adipose tissue through a minor liposuction from the belly, the first Orthopaedic surgeon in Greece, according the Harvest Terumo BCT technique or from the knee fat  according the Proteal technique. 


Dr.Tsoukas was the first Orthopaedic surgeon in Europe performed a knee liposuction. Stem cells derived from adipose tissue been collecting in one stage and immediately injecting in the arthritic joint without removing biological material outside the hospital and without any cultivation which are illegal.


He has been elected ( 2018-2020)  as the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Sports Injuries Section of the Hellenic Association of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology, the official scientific society in Greece for Sports Injuries and Arthroscopic Surgery belonging to the mother scientific Orthopaedic Association.
